Folic Acid is involved in many metabolic functions, including RNA/DNA synthesis, and has recently been advised for pregnant mothers, to increase defense against neural tube defects.
Ingredients :
Each Tablet Contains: Folate (as folic acid) 800 mcg.
Other Ingredients :
DiCalcium Phosphate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Rice Bran Extract, Rice Extract
Contraindications :
Folic acid should not be taken when a vitamin B-12 deficiency exists, because it can mask it.
