Melatonin is a neurohormone, best known for its sleep support abilities. Melatonin also supports many other areas, including healthy aging and immune function. It is an important antioxidant for mitochondria, the energy powerhouses of the cell.
Ingredients :
Each Tablet Contains: Melatonin 5 mg*.
Other Ingredients :
DiCalcium Phosphate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Vegetable Stearine, Vegetable Stearic Acid, Vegetable Magnesium Stearate.
Contraindications :
Because of the beneficial effect of melatonin on blood thinning, caution is advised when taking medications that are used for blood thinning; please consult a health professional when on blood thinning drugs. Do not drive or use machinery for four to five hours after taking melatonin. Since melatonin is a neurohormone, it is advised to refrain from supplementation a day or two a week, so as not to desensitize receptors. Melatonin has not been extensively studied in pregnancy.
